We know lots of campus groups are competing for your time and
attention.
We also know students who make time to visit the Gwen M. Green Career and
Internship Center are better equipped to answer the question "What can I do with this major?" or to find that first internship.
Our goal is to keep you posted on events, services and postings
you need to know about—without overwhelming you. Here are the ways we’ll keep
in touch:
Our website is a great jumping off point for any student, with links for exploring careers and majors, internship and research opportunities, tips on networking and résumé writing and a calendar of events.
Our Career and Internship Digest
is a blog with job and internship listings as well as features like student intern spotlights and articles from our career counselors. Use the button on
the lower right if you would like to receive an email whenever there is a new
posting.
Reminders about employer visits, alumni networking
opportunities, career seminars and links to useful articles are posted on Facebook and Twitter.
“Like” or “Follow” us for a passive way to keep up on happenings.
Weekly emails go out to sophomores, juniors, seniors and
grad students containing links to new job and internship postings and career
center events. Freshman will receive an occasional targeted email listing freshman-focused
seminars and other relevant events. If you are not receiving emails
from CareerLink contact us anytime at career.center@rochester.edu.
Finally, you could always go old-school--look for flyers
around campus, call us at 275-2366, or stop in at 302 Meliora Hall, where our
friendly receptionist Debbie Ortolani will help you make a counseling
appointment or answer your questions about upcoming events and workshops.
We hope to see you soon!
