Professional Development Program Associate (PDP)
Associates in the Professional Development Program will work for the leader in the employee benefits marketplace. They will complete 3-4 cross functional job rotations over the course of a 4-6 year timeframe.  Business area rotations may include Claims Management, Underwriting, Customer Services, Enrollment, Finance and Marketing.  Job rotation assignments may vary from 12-24 months depending on the role, complexity and business needs.  At least one job rotation will be outside of your primary work location. Associates will receive programmatic training and development which will include a variety of venues such as classroom, self-study, field visits and project-based work which will occur throughout the duration of the program. They will also have a leadership level mentor assigned for the duration of the program to support you in your individualized professional growth and development plans.

Special Education Collaborative Team Teacher (Available for 2013-2014 School Year)
Public Prep is seeking Special Education Collaborative Team Teachers to join our schools in grades K-8 for the 2013-2014 school year. Special Education Collaborative Team Teachers at Public Prep work alongside General Education Collaborative Team Teachers and are jointly held accountable for the success of each of the 25 students in their classes and must consistently plan for and monitor the progress of each of their students in order to meet this responsibility. All teachers meet regularly with their co-teachers, grade-level team members and other collaborators in order to address all students’ access to curriculum and learning goals. In Middle School, they also work extremely closely with their department teams across grade levels. All collaborative team teaching classrooms reflect the use of a variety of co-teaching models.  All teachers also work closely with School Aides and Instructional Leadership Team, who provide non-academic support to the team and support teachers in maximizing their performance, respectively.
6th and 7th Grade Science Teacher (Available Immediately)
The Science Teacher will meet regularly with his or her grade-level and department team members in order to address access to curriculum and academic learning goals for all students. They will also work alongside a co-teacher who is certified in special education for CTT homerooms. The Science Teacher will receive support from the Department Chair and the Instructional Leadership Team in order to maximize his or her performance and that of his or her students. The Science Teacher will receive frequent feedback and observation, coaching cycles and professional development based on the Charlotte Danielson framework for teaching.
Fellow or Associate Teacher (Available in 2013-2014)
Fellows and Associates are paired with a Lead Teacher in grades K-2nd and with a grade level in grades 3rd and 4th.   The teaching pairs consistently plan for and monitor the progress of each of the 25 students in their classes in all content areas.   Fellows and Associates begin by shadowing but quickly begin taking on teaching responsibilities. They are responsible for teaching two daily 45-minute blocks of small group instruction and science.  Teaching responsibilities increase throughout the two years as Fellows and Associates gradually assume all aspects of the teaching load of a Lead teacher. Fellows and Associates provide input for planning and assessing in all content areas and attend all professional development, grade level team meetings, and child study team meetings.

H.E.A.T. Assistant
We have built a rank-and-file leadership structure called the Hotel Employees Action Team (H.E.A.T.) System. The purpose of the H.E.A.T. System is to increase the participation of the membership in the union and to greatly enhance the union's ability to mobilize our members for large-scale action, in order to organize non-union workers, to fight for higher wages and better benefits, and to increase the rights of hotel workers. H.E.A.T. Weekend Host Edition
This position is responsible for hosting and localizing WXXI’s Weekend Edition news programs.  In addition to writing and delivering local newscasts and providing local continuity during the program, the Weekend Host archives local news content on the station web site, and operates the Master Control Room during the air shift.

Photographer/Editor
The Photographer/Editor will shoot and edit stories as directed. He/She needs to shoot steady, sequenced video with good, clean audio for news, weather, and sports for daily newscasts and specials under tight deadlines. Editors will edit in camera for sequences along with using different techniques and different editing machines including non-linear editing. Will also edit highvolume amount of video clips for major newscasts with non-linear system.
