Make a Difference. Become a NYC Teaching Fellow.
The NYC Teaching Fellows program recruits talented and dedicated graduates to raise student achievement in the New York City classrooms that need teachers the most. More than one in ten NYC public school teachers started their career through the NYC Teaching Fellows.

Who Can Apply?
No previous teaching experience or education coursework is necessary for participation in the program. Fellows enroll in an intensive summer training program and then earn a subsidized master's degree while teaching in a New York City public school.

Candidates who submit their application by the December 3rd deadline will hear back about their status within two weeks and will have the opportunity to interview before the new year, if invited. The Saturday Academy Coordinator will be chiefly responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the Saturday Academy program at Girls Prep Bronx Elementary School. The Saturday Academy program serves approximately 50 third and fourth grade students in need of academic intervention in literacy.
