Unpaid internship? Reach funds can help!

We are pleased to have Reach Funds again this summer to help UR students explore career options through unpaid internships, including on-campus research, regardless of financial constraints.

Reach Funds are available thanks to the generous gifts of University of Rochester friends and alumni who believe in the importance of experiential opportunities.

Who is eligible?

All current undergraduate students who have secured an unpaid, career-related internship this summer can apply.

How do students apply?

Students must complete a 2013 application including a student profile, supervisor form, one-page statement describing how the experience is career related, resume, description of the organization/lab and position and a completed W-9 Form. Incomplete applications are not considered. Applications will be available online and in our library in late February and may be submitted no earlier than March 18.

How is funding awarded?

Funding is awarded to the student on a first-come first-serve basis according to endowment criteria until funds are exhausted. Students can increase their chances by submitting only completed applications as soon as possible.
