The Center for Disability Rights (CDR) is a not-for-profit, community-based advocacy and service organization for people with all types of disabilities. Since 1998, CDR has been recognized as an Independent Living Center by the National Council on Independent Living, making CDR part of a national network of Independent Living Centers that provide non-residential and non-medical services.
Manager of Independent Living Services
Under minimal supervision, the Manager of Independent Living Services ensures and maintains the Center for Independent Living mission and philosophy. The manager advocates and facilitates independent living services for persons with disabilities. Demonstrated Supervisory or management experience required.

2013-2014 Teaching Fellows
The NYC Teaching Fellows program recruits talented and dedicated graduates to raise student achievement in the New York City classrooms that need teachers the most. Fellows become full-time teachers within a few months of enrolling and will be trained to teach math, science, special education, English, ESL, and bilingual education. No previous teaching experience or education coursework is necessary.

Public Health Educator
To carry out education and service activities of the Women’s Prison Initiative Project (W/PI), including outreach, facilitation of inmate HIV/AIDS Peer Education, support groups, confidential HIV counseling and testing, special activities and other services.  To design, implement and revise as necessary, trainings for inmate Peer Educators, facility staff and other individuals.

Assignments may include (but are not limited to) projects in the following areas: Characterization of host cell proteins (HCPs) from biologics manufacturing process streams and HCP reference standards; Electrophoresis, western blotting, protein labeling and DiGE analysis; Good documentation/lab practices; Interns are expected to present the results from their specific assignments at the conclusion of the internship.
-Must be enrolled in school the semester of and/or during the assignment, as well as the semester following the assignment
-Must possess a 3.0+ GPA
-Must be eligible to work full-time, 40 hours, from May/June - August 2013
-Must be pursuing a Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biochemical, Biomedical, Bioengineering or related degree

International Programs Fellowship
The Population Reference Bureau (PRB) is now accepting applications for its International Programs Fellowship at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The Fellowship is a full-time position lasting for two years and will begin in summer 2013. The Fellowship is sponsored and managed by PRB and funded through PRB’s IDEA Project (Informing Decisionmakers to Act), a cooperative agreement between PRB and USAID. The Fellow will work within USAID’s Office of Population and Reproductive Health in Washington, D.C., which works to advance and support voluntary family planning and reproductive health programs worldwide.

The Actuarial Development Program (ADP) at Unum has been in existence for over 40 years, and provided guidance and support to hundreds of actuaries early in their careers. Many have built on the foundation provided by the ADP and grown into executive leaders at Unum and across the insurance industry.
Professional Development Program Associate (PDP)
Complete 3-4 cross functional job rotations over the course of a 4-6 year timeframe. Business area rotations may include Claims Management, Underwriting, Customer Services, Enrollment, Finance and Marketing. Job rotation assignments may vary from 12-24 months depending on the role, complexity and business needs. At least one job rotation will be outside of your primary work location. Work locations may include Chattanooga, TN, Portland, ME, Columbia, SC, Worcester, MA, Glendale, CA, and Dorking, UK.
