The Finance Analyst works within a team of relationship managers to manage, research and analyze CRM data, assist with pricing and proposal creation, execute on marketing projects, set and participate in virtual meetings and assist the Senior Vice President-Sales in various projects.  The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills and is interested in a career path in sales, commercial lending or relationship management. In order for citizens to effectively exercise their voices in a democracy, they should be informed about the problems and choices that they face. CEPR is committed to presenting issues in an accurate and understandable manner, so that the public is better prepared to choose among the various policy options.
International Program Summer Intern
The Center for Economic and Policy Research is currently looking for a full-time International Program Intern for Summer  (May- August).  Responsibilities include assisting staff with research on upcoming papers and opinion pieces; organizing events with Latin American delegations, CEPR staff, and visiting academics; assisting in the production of the Latin American News Round-up by compiling daily news clips on Latin America and the Caribbean; as well as working on outreach to press, advocacy organizations and Congress. The responsibilities vary based on their interests and experience, as well as the particular issues that CEPR is working on at the time. Interns will be able to attend relevant events around Washington, DC.

Neufeld Scheck & Brustin, LLP, is a small New York-based law firm created by Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr., Peter Neufeld, and Barry Scheck focusing almost exclusively on civil rights litigation, particularly wrongful convictions, police brutality, and other forms of official misconduct. We currently have a docket of approximately 25 cases across the country, which collectively address systemic problems in criminal justice. Our mission is to utilize individual cases to effect widespread systemic change.
With these goals in mind, we are looking for a bright, motivated, and committed recent college graduate to work as a full-time legal assistant/paralegal for two or more years. The ideal candidate is contemplating a career as a civil rights (public interest) lawyer and can demonstrate the following: a commitment to civil rights or social justice issues; extraordinary writing and analytical skills; is extremely organized, detail oriented, computer savvy, and comfortable multi-tasking. Responsibilities include general day-to-day office tasks such as answering phones, drafting correspondence, indexing discovery documents, and filing, as well as more substantive work on cases, such as investigative work, reviewing and analyzing evidence, editing and trial preparation.
