John Tanenbaum is an attorney, owner and managing partner of Castle Bay Management Services, a commercial real estate management firm based in Westchester County, New York.  In the spring of 1991, Mr. Tanenbaum opened a real estate practice on Long Island, which developed into a real estate management and development company.  His practice includes most areas of real estate law, specializing in leasing, closings, permits, zoning, as well as business contracts.  Mr. Tanenbaum has worked in the tri-state area since 1991, developing, renting and managing commercial space.

Mr. Tanenbaum earned a B.A. in English and a minor in History in 1985 from the University of Rochester.  He completed a joint-degree program in 1990 at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, receiving his J.D. from the School of Law and his M.B.A. from the John M. Olin School of Business.  He and his wife Amy have four children.  At the University of Rochester, Mr. Tanenbaum has been an active volunteer and has endowed the John M. Tanenbaum Family Fund, which provides tuition and summer internship financial support for students in the Department of English.
