The Accountant ensures the accuracy of billable amounts on shippers’ monthly invoices generated for the transportation and storage of natural gas on National Fuel’s Supply and Empire Pipelines.  The successful candidate will analyze reports and spreadsheets created to provide requested information to internal and external auditors.  In conjunction with corporate accounting, the Accountant will perform reconciliations and provide miscellaneous analysis to management as requested.  He/She will also work closely with other internal departments to ensure our compliance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).  The Accountant will be required to accumulate and scrutinize data (dollars and/or volumes) in support of natural gas rate designs.

Primary responsibilities include performing audits in various financial and operational areas of National Fuel.
