Marketing Information Specialist
The Marketing Information Specialist is responsible for responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Due Diligence (DD) requests from clients, consultants and prospects. This includes writing responses using both qualitative and quantitative information, shepherding them through a compliance review process, distributing, and storing them. This position may also include the need to compute data on a regular basis as well as working on various projects as they arise (which may include, but may not be limited to, providing statistical backup for marketing materials, working on comparative analysis, running queries, compiling data for audits, etc.). This position requires the ability to combine, pull apart, and update standard qualitative answers in addition to collaborating with personnel from around the firm to create new answers (on a much less frequent basis) in order to fully and accurately answer the question at hand. Accordingly, good writing skills and an attention to detail are very important. At the same time, an analytical mindset goes far in this position as well, since working with numbers and analyzing data is a component of the position’s responsibilities.
