In this role, you will support and learn from senior staff conducting analyses of national and urban transportation policies and technologies. A major focus is on the use of analytic tools and methodology for examining transportation programs, and on the development and improvement of related databases. As part of a project team, you will be responsible for literature reviews, and data gathering and analysis using a variety of analytical techniques.

Research Associate, Democracy Program
The Brennan Center seeks two (2) full-time Research Associates to work in the Brennan Center’s Democracy Program. The Research Associates will be assigned primarily to our Money In Politics and Fair Courts teams. These programs work to reduce the power of money and special interests in our democracy, support fair and impartial courts to promote equal justice and the rule of law, and revitalize our systems of government. The Genesee County Human Resources Director is the head of the County Human Resource Department and also acts as the county’s Affirmative Action Officer. The position is administrative in nature, and has a broad range of responsibilities falling into three major areas of Civil Service Administration, Labor Relations and General Personnel Administration. The Human Resource Director is appointed by the County Legislature for a six year term of office. The Human Resource Director is a Public Officer under NYS Law, and therefore, must be a resident of Genesee County at the time of appointment, and for the duration of the term of office. The Program Coordinator/Lecturer is a member of the multidisciplinary Emergency Services Programs team who is responsible for the vision, planning, management, development, and delivery of courses and programs to meet the education/training needs of the fire service and private sector fire, rescue, and hazardous materials emergency response. The PC/L is an educator, innovator, manager, leader, and entrepreneur. The educational programs managed by the PC/L include aircraft fire and rescue, incident management system, hazardous materials response, industrial fire/rescue, and related emergency response. The PC/L is a member of the faculty/staff of the Fire Protection Technology degree program. The PC/L is also the primary operations liaison with the Fire Training Ground partners. The PC/L reports to the Manager of Emergency Services Programs.
