Are you a student interested in learning more about AngularJS?  If so, please join us for a Tech Talk on Tuesday, September 24th!  This session will be hosted by a Google Engineer who is passionate about teaching others about AngularJS.  

What is AngularJS you ask?  AngularJS is what HTML would have been, had it been designed for building web-apps. It is an open-source JavaScript framework, maintained by Google, that assists with running single-page applications. Its goal is to augment browser-based applications with model–view–controller (MVC) capability, in an effort to make both development and testing easier.

On-Campus Interview Deadline for KLA-Tencor, 9/29

One of the world's top ten semiconductor equipment manufacturers, KLA-Tencor, will be hosting on-campus interviews for the positions below on Thursday, October 10. Field Applications Engineer (BS/MS in Engineering, Physics, Material Science)
Based in Malta, NY, the candidate will be responsible for supporting KLA-Tencor's defect inspection products in the field, which includes projects related to new product introduction, characterization, beta testing and early evaluation tools. In addition, the candidate will manage customer demonstrations, head-to-head (H2H) activities at customer facilities, and adoption support. Also, the candidate will be responsible for generating best known method documents and other training material and transferring product knowledge to K-T's worldwide Field Applications team. Lastly, he/she will work closely with customers to develop solutions to problems, and publish papers at industry symposiums or in technical journals. This position provides opportunities to work closely with many organizations including engineering, sales and marketing within K-T and with customer engineers outside of KLA-Tencor and may require minimal travel to support inspection products at customer fabs. 

Field Applications Engineer (MS/PhD in Engineering, Physics, Material Science) 
The selected Field Applications Engineers primary purpose is to provide Unpatterned Wafer Inspection product applications support to our customers in Albany & Malta, NY, including product adoption, penetration, and market share activities centered on Best Known Methods (BKMs) development, identifying and implementing new applications and use cases, and maintaining competitive advantage. In addition, he/she will manage customer demos, competitive head to head activities at customer facilities, and long term adoption support. It will be his/her responsibility to generate BKMs and training material, transfer product knowledge and lessons learned to KLA-Tencor's WW Field Application Team.
