HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management Graduate Development Program

The Retail Banking and Wealth Management Graduate Development Program (GDP) is an intensive entry level program designed to accelerate experience, develop leadership capabilities, and provide broad exposure to the banking industry. Through rotational assignments (in both front line and back office business areas), coursework and training, trainees will be expected to acquire a diverse set of skills, a deep understanding of the business, and leverage developing capabilities into practical and strategic results. Working closely with the directors of Cardinal Education and current clientele, this individual will execute specialized study plans with the focus of improving a student’s ability. This person will be responsible for commuting to student’s homes to host sessions, staying informed of the student’s progress, and regularly communicating with the directors of Cardinal Education with the purpose of improving student performance.
Associate College Admissions Counselor (Full-Time)
The Associate College Admissions Counselor will be responsible for working with students in their quest to apply to colleges and gain acceptance to the colleges of their choice. Working closely with the directors of Cardinal Education, a team of editors and counselors, and current clientele, the Associate College Admissions Counselor will help students with each step of the admissions process and provide students and their families with informed recommendations regarding their college applications.
SAT Tutor (Part-Time)
The SAT Tutors will be responsible for helping students prepare for standardized tests required for entrance to colleges, and provide families with informed recommendations to reach their goals. Working closely with the managers of Cardinal Education and local families, SAT Tutors will develop individual plans for students aimed at accomplishing their desired score improvement based on their respective test date.

Working closely with the managers of Cardinal Education and local families, Tutors will execute individualized study plans with the focus of improving a student’s conceptual understanding, study skills, and organization. Research Assistant, Health Policy
AcademyHealth is currently seeking a Research Assistant to provide staff support for the Changes in Health Care Financing and Organization (HCFO) initiative, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-sponsored program.  This program funds research that examines major changes in health care financing and organization, and their effects on cost, access and quality.  It also bridges the gap between research and policy by translating findings and disseminating them to appropriate stakeholders. The Research Assistant would assist with a variety of administrative and substantive tasks to support HCFO’s grantmaking, convening and dissemination activities.  In addition, the incumbent would provide support to other major program and projects of AcademyHealth.

The Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice
Families USA established the Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice in 2004. Through this fellowship, Families USA hopes to expand the pool of talented social justice advocates from underrepresented economic, racial, and ethnic minority groups, including the American Indian & Alaska Native, Asian American, Black/African American, Latino, and Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander communities. The Wellstone fellow’s primary responsibilities include assisting in the organization of conferences and trainings for advocates and community leaders; drafting talking points, blogs, fact sheets, and other publications; and developing content for the Families USA website and email lists. During the year, the fellow will learn about health reform implementation, Medicaid, Medicare, health equity, and other important health policy issues. At the same time, the Wellstone fellow will develop an understanding of the tactics and strategies used in state-based consumer health advocacy organizations and will work directly with our network of state consumer health advocates and organizations.

The Villers Fellowship for Health Care Justice was created in 2005 by Philippe Villers, founder and president of Families USA, to inspire and develop the next generation of health care justice leaders.
