Early Recognition Specialist
The Early Recognition Specialist (ERS) works with children, families and community providers to assist them in identifying their strengths and needs. The ERS conducts screens, and follows up on the results of screens. ERS also works with other community partners' screening tools to interpret and follow up on identifying children and youth who may be at risk of, or have the presence of, serious emotional disturbance. For the youth that are deemed to have the need for further follow-up and/or treatment, the ERS will work with the family to make appropriate linkages to services and supports that meet the needs of the child and their family. The ERS informs the family of services and supports and assists, when needed, in coordinating services and supports.

Change Corps – Nationwide
Change Corps is a paid, one-year full-immersion training program in grassroots organizing.
