Meet Your Peer Career Advisers: Celine Talley

The Gwen M. Greene Career and Internship Center is open to all students from 10 to 4:30 daily. Walk in for help getting started in career & major exploration and your career & internship search. In addition to Professional Resource Counselors, there are Peer Career Advisers (PCAs) in the library to assist with a variety of career- or internship-related needs. The PCAs are one of the many resources available to you. All PCAs, who are students just like you, have been trained for a full semester by Career Center Staff and are eager to help you succeed!

Name: Celine Talley
Class: 2016

Majors: Biology and American Sign Language

Activities/Hobbies:Everything and anything. I love trying new things.

Career Advice:Before becoming a PCA at the Career Center, I had no idea there were so many research opportunities for life science majors! I also never knew how simple finding research and internship opportunities can be, or how willing professors can be to take on a research assistant. I work in the library 8 hours a week: Stop by and we'll start working on helping you land your dream internship.

Peer Career Advisers are here to help you get started on resumes, cover letters, and your initial search for internships and employment opportunities. Although they can provide you with immediate and brief advice on a variety of career-related issues, you are highly encouraged to make an appointment with a Career Counselor to discuss strategies to develop and achieve your career plans in detail.
