Meet Your Peer Career Advisers: Sarah Skinner

The Gwen M. Greene Career and Internship Center is open to all students from 10 to 4:30 daily. Walk in for help getting started in career & major exploration and your career & internship search. In addition to Professional Resource Counselors, there are Peer Career Advisers (PCAs) in the library to assist with a variety of career- or internship-related needs. The PCAs are one of the many resources available to you. All PCAs, who are students just like you, have been trained for a full semester by Career Center Staff and are eager to help you succeed!

 
Name:Sarah Skinner
Class: 2014

Major: Chemistry
Post-Graduate Plans: Sarah will be attending graduate school at Syracuse University, studying Nutritional Science.

Activities/Hobbies: Sarah is a Captain on the Varsity Women's Lacrosse team, and can be frequently found lifting weights in the Goergen Athletic Center. She has been working at the Career Center since she was a sophomore, and loves getting to work with different students each day!


  

Peer Career Advisers are here to help you get started on resumes, cover letters, and your initial search for internships and employment opportunities. Although they can provide you with immediate and brief advice on a variety of career-related issues, you are highly encouraged to make an appointment with a Career Counselor to discuss strategies to develop and achieve your career plans in detail.
