Laurana is a Systems Integration Consultant for Accenture. She graduated from UR with a B.S. in Biology ‘11 and a M.S. in Technical Entrepreneurship and Management ‘12. She uses her science and business background to bridge the gap between developers and clients. Her work experience includes both ends of the spectrum from technical to functional. She worked on building United States Postal Service’s new package tracking system as an Informatica developer in database manipulation and then as a functional analyst comparing the legacy system to the system being built. She is currently on a project for Partners Healthcare supporting Epic healthcare system implementations in hospitals as a test coordinator for the Billing applications. She also likes to use her skills outside the workplace and volunteer with organizations that help unemployed adults gain computer skills to help their job search such as Byte Back and Streetwise Partners in DC.
